    An Air India pushback tractor at the Mumbai airport caught fire on Monday.

    Apushback tractor at the Mumbai airport caught fire on Monday. The Air India vehicle was at stand V26R.

    The tractor was gearing up to push back Air India Mumbai-Jamnagar flight AIC-647 — and A320 aircraft.

    There were 85 people on board the flight. The fire was immediately extinguished and no damage to the aircraft was reported.

    The aircraft departed at 12.04 pm.

    A pushback tractor is used to push an aircraft away from the parking position.
