Talegaon, 24th March 2023: The Property Tax Recovery Cell of the Talegaon Dabhade Municipal Council has sealed five mobile towers for property tax default.
According to Chief Executive Officer Vijaykumar Sarnaik, the action was taken by the property recovery team consisting of Tax Inspectors Vijay Shahane, Mayur Misal, Suvarna Kale, Praveen Shinde, and Ashish Darshile. The municipal council has appointed several recovery teams, and the property owners in Talegaon have been requested to pay their property tax before taking any immediate action.
Outstanding dues of about Rs 44 lakh 37 thousand 932 are owed on a total of 10 mobile towers in Talegaon. Tax Inspector Vijay Shahane stated that the council has taken action to seal mobile towers for recovery of dues on five mobile towers named Jijamata Chowk, Rao Colony, Maval Land, Samson Nagar, and Tapodham Colony.
The CEP explained that the previously sealed properties’ tax will be recovered from the auction as per the rules.
